All PV modules installed on flat roofs are mounted on robust profile constructions and tilted for maximum yield at an angle of 30° to the sun taking into account the time of year.
Flat Roof Mounting System
The modules are screwed in place on the flat roof brackets using the tried and tested clips and system screws. To guarantee the stability of the PV Light ‘Flat Roof’ installation system, it can be screwed directly to the building structure or secured using weighting elements – depending on the structural calculations for the roof.
Sheer forces to the system, such as side winds, are absorbed by securing cruciforms mounted on the back. The construction of the system and choice of materials ensures maximum protection against weather damage (e.g. from wind/storm and snow loads). The clear and simple installation guide contains all the necessary distances and installation instructions to ensure optimum orientation and to avoid shade when installing multiple rows.
